The VW Golf was a hatchback version of the VW Beetle. The golf has a water cooled engine, unlike the Beetle. From 1974-to present, their has been 6 generations of this car. There has been many changes since then. This car has been called many names such as "Rabbit, Bunny, Caribe. The golf has a lot of torque for uphill driving. Golfs have been used for sport racing. Its a fun car to have and drive. I would know because I have one!!

  1. I think it's pretty cool seeing how the VW Golf has changed throughout the years from these pictures. I really think that the Golf model, as well as Volkswagen as a company, has evolved throughout the years. In particular, the VW Golf, for shifting away from its older box-shaped design and moving into the contemporary, and sleeker design of smoothness and curves. It's also incredible on how the company has been keeping up with technological advances to make the VW Golf a car that has lasted for, and will probably live past, six generations of development.

  2. I really like the use of your pictures they do a good job of outlining the evolution of the golf and almost make it seem like a timeline. Also the description you added at the end wraps up the post well.
